"The room and the property was very clean and decorated so nicely. The location was excellent, just down the street from the beach. It was very easy to find as it had several signs leading the way. Barbara at reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is included was amazing! There was everything anyone could ever want in a breakfast. Would definitely recommend Marsuites B&B!"

"Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away."

The swimming pool was a little bit under the weather and needed a bit of a freshen up so we didn’t use it. The hot breakfast didn’t look very appetising so we didn’t eat it. We unfortunately saw a cockroach twice near the indoor pool area, which was concerning and affected our overall impression of the hotel. The general cleanliness also did not meet our expectations. "Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different."
