"The bed was too hard for me but I had recently had surgery. Normally a hard bed wouldn’t bother me. I thought the motel was great clean roomy everything one needs it would be great place to stay in summer with the deck and views. Friendly motelier. "

"We enjoyed a very comfortable stay, wonderful food at Carrington Restaurant over two nights, very welcoming staff ( shout out to Camille, Phoenix and Jo) good facilities and great tv choice. Would like to stay again when we return to the KariKari Coast."

"Fantastic place, charming, quiet, Terry a great host/owner; beautiful location 2.5 km walk to downtown Tairua but pitch dark at night, glad I had a reflector vest Basics in place for cooking, TV has Netflix, prime and good channels. Water across the street, complimentary kayaks and shovels for hot beach ( but I was late getting there) Great base to take off in day trips Definitely my go to should I ever return."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel on Devonport. The room was ideal, nice balcony with a view out over the harbour, and the bath was an added bonus. And plenty of dining options within a short walking distance. Great value for money. Would totally recommend."
