The hotel is small and very peaceful, set back from the winding road and just a few minutes walk downhill from the mountain railway station Ohiradai. Great staff. Awesome touch to have free ice cream at the main lobby. Private onsen on the balcony of the room with a stunning view was breathtaking and helpful given my partner has tattoos and can't use public onsen. Best breakfast buffet with many options that ive been to.
