Although the cameras are somewhat outdated, the hotel is an excellent option. It’s located in a beautiful area, close to Porto Rotondo, Porto Cervo, and Olbia. The gardens are lovely, and the hotel has its own port, making it convenient to rent gommones or other boats.

This hotel is a literal dream! If possible ask for a room with sea view. The grounds are spectacular, the beach and pool are great, amazing service from all the staff and the location is ideal for exploring the nearby town. We stayed in three hotels in Sardinia and this was our favorite!

All about location not the hotel.

Our stay was average hence the average rating. The rooms are dated and the service in the restaurant was average we are sorry to say. For the price our expectations were higher. Few annoying items would be no cold tap in the bathroom and having to pay €20 per day for parking even though you are in the middle of nowhere! The location is very nice with some amazing views.

It‘s a lovely place, close to the sea. There‘s not much around so really quite, beside some boats anchoring in the bay (we heared their Music) Facilities typical for italian Hotels, used, a Bit old fashioned but still charming. Shower head in the bath room should be renewed. Service Personal was very Kind (but in some cases overwhelmed; we did not receive what we ordered). Overall - We enjoyed our stay!!

Die Ankunft war sehr schlecht - am Empfang kein "Herzlich willkommen", Infos zur Anlage und zu den Abläufen, sondern nur gelangweiltes "Hallo. Ihren Pass bitte. Hier der Schlüssel." Wenn der junge Mann keine Lust auf Service und Gäste hat, soll er halt nicht an der Rezeption arbeiten. Das ursprüngliche Zimmer war leider in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Dunkel, es hat im Bad geschimmelt, das ganze Zimmer hat gestunken und war ein finsteres Loch. Komplett renovierungsbedürftig. Nachdem wir uns beschwert haben, bekamen wir ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das war dann ganz nett, auch wenn es im Bad etwas gerochen hat und das Haus insgesamt sehr hellhörig ist. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön, gepflegt und gut organisiert. Das Personal war größtenteils auch freundlich (außer im Restaurant, wo wir nach Ankunft Abendessen wollten. Der Kellner war so abweisend, dass wir direkt wieder gegangen sind). Insgesamt hatte man teilweise das Gefühl, dass die Leute zum Ende der Saison hin ausgelaugt sind. Nicht alle, aber einige. Ich habe persönlich Verständnis, aber als Gast nervt es trotzdem. 20€ für Parkplatz grenzt an Nötigung, im Fitnessraum gibt es keine Wasserspender. Man soll im Restaurant Wasser kaufen. Hab ich so auch noch nie erlebt. Die Chefin gab mir dann aber doch eine Flasche Wasser. Preislich für Nebensaison insgesamt okay, das doppelte würde ich in der Hauptsaison nicht zahlen. Fazit: Wir würden zu denselben Konditionen wahrscheinlich aber wieder kommen.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption, viel Platz auf dem weitläufigen Gelände. Nachteil: aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage ist man ohne Auto sehr immobil (kein öffentlicher Nahverkehr, Taxis müssen bestellt werden und sind sehr teuer).

Das Zimmer war winzig, NR 1216, dunkel und der Zustand war alt und verschlissen, die ganze Anlage total unübersichtlich, keine Wegweiser zu den Zimmern, erklärt wurde nichts, erst auf Nachfrage wurde gezeigt wo das Zimmer ist, es befand sich in einer dunkelen Ecke, kein Fenster, nur die Tür war aus Glas, davor eine dunkle Mauer, in der Anlage sind jede Menge Treppen, auf und ab mit den Koffern, keine Hilfe angeboten, der Preis war exorbitant, über 200€ für eine Nacht, eine Person, Abends im Restaurant, gab es 3 Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Dessert's, für jeden Gang waren zwischen 25 und 30 Euro fällig, ohne Getränke, dass Essen war ein Witz, eine Kinderportion. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr schwach, am Buffet war 09:00 so gut wie alles leer, einen Kaffee bekam ich nach einer halben Stunde, nachdem ich 3mal nachgefragt hatte, sehr unfreundliches Personal. Und als Highlight, Abends auf der Terrasse gab es Livemusik, ein Duo versuchte die Menschen zu unterhalten, leider hatten beide keine Ahnung von Gesang, es klang fürchterlich, kein Mensch applaudierte, es war alles in allem ein nicht zu empfehlendes Hotel, nie wieder!!!!

Hotel stupendo, una delle più belle location mai viste nella mia vita nonostante sia stato in tanti posti e per 15 anni a porto rotondo in un altro residence. Discretamente pulito, spiaggia e lettini compresi.. Se vogliamo trovare il pelo nell'uovo : asciugamani vecchi e rotti, luce dell'esterno non funzionate e tv rotta e non riparata / sostituita dopo la segnalazione ... altrimenti si sarebbe meritato un 10 secco!

Das aufgerufene Preisniveau steht in keinem Verhältnis zu den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Bereits beim Check-in wurden wir negativ überrascht: Das erste Zimmer war von einem starken Geruch nach Feuchtigkeit und Schimmel geprägt – unzumutbar, besonders mit kleinem Kind. Nach unserer ersten Reklamation wurde uns zwar ein anderes Zimmer zugewiesen, allerdings ohne den ursprünglich gebuchten Meerblick. Erst nach zwei weiteren Tagen und erneutem Nachdruck erhielten wir ein drittes Zimmer, das zumindest den Meerblick bot – allerdings entdeckten wir auch hier Schimmelspuren auf dem Schlafsofa. Damit war unsere Urlaubsstimmung endgültig dahin. Besonders enttäuschend: Eine Hotelmitarbeiterin beschwerte sich über unsere Bewertung bei Expedia – ein inakzeptables Verhalten gegenüber zahlenden Gästen. Konstruktive Kritik sollte angenommen und nicht abgewertet werden. Das gesamte Hotel wirkt stark in die Jahre gekommen. Ein paar neue Farbanstriche können den Zustand nicht kaschieren – überall Farbspritzer, rostige Lampenfüße, abgewohnte Möbel. Die Qualität der drei uns zugewiesenen Zimmer erinnerte eher an eine Bundeswehrkaserne als an ein Urlaubsresort. Ein absolutes No-Go war das zwischenzeitliche „Downgrade“ auf ein Zimmer ohne Meerblick – ohne jegliche Entschädigung oder Kulanz. Selbst für den Stellplatz wurden 20 € pro Tag ohne Diskussion vollständig berechnet. Fazit: Für uns definitiv keine Empfehlung – weder in Bezug auf Service, Zustand noch Umgang mit Gästen.

Superior “toilet ophold” med smuk udsigt

Hotelet ligger smukt på bækken med pragtfuld udsigt til bugten og smaragd vand i Marinella bugt. Vi havde superior suite for 2 for 235€ per døgn med terrasse, smuk udsigt men meget generende mugen lugt fra afløb som kunne ikke fjernes i 7 dage og er sansynligvis varig hotellets problem. Afløbet var oven i købet beskidt ved ankomsten i 2 dage.En flaske drikke vand 0,5 l koster 5 €. Postevand er sundhedsfarlig selv ved tandbørstning.Umuligt at være der uden lejet bil.Offentlig transport ikke fungerende midt på dagen. Morgenmad er ok , fin basis. Aftensmad velsmagende og velforberedt men prisen dobbelt i forhold til fex I Olbia. Vi vil gerne komme tilbage til Sardinien men ikke til Hotel Palumbalza.
