"I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Naxos. The owners are lovely and very helpful. It has a great location with public parking near by and a couple minutes walk from the port. "We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grotta. From the start, they arranged for free transport to and from the Ferry Port. This was extremely convenient and cost effective for us. We enjoyed the friendly driver who handled our tranport. When I had a problem with a change in time on our ferry ticket, he quickly transported me to the Ferry ticket office to resolve so I could get to my ferry on time. The breakfast was spectacular. "Excellent location! Very clean and well maintained. Comfy beds. The staff were very accessible by WhatsApp after hours too. There is a small kitchen which we appreciated and staff kept it stocked each day with the basics including bread, cereal, coffee, butter, some fruit, jam etc. I would def recommend. There is no front desk 24/7 since its not a resort, so you speak to him through WhatsApp. Although it may seem weird to some, its actually much easier and he is there all the time when you need him.
