"We asked for a room with a single king size bed - they said they didn’t have any. We stayed in a small room with two queen size beds, but the room is way too small for two queen sized beds. We were constantly in each other’s way. The armchair also was too large and in the way. The bathroom was tiny with a corner shower and no light in the shower itself. Too dark and cramped. Just a kludge of a room all around. Also, the pool/hot tub room on the first floor was like a soggy sauna, way too humid...

"Cold shower two days. They said the handle was put on improperly and would work if I turned the other way. It did not. I booked non refundable so couldn’t get out of my extra night. They didn’t provide shampoo. The gym does not include weights. I will not be staying in a Baymont by Windham ever again."

"The beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. Good sized room to move around in. The lounge and breakfast rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was good but would have liked ceramic cups instead of paper cups for coffee, cut up fruit, and fresh bananas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the property maintenance and updating appears to be declining. Marred walls and baseboards, dated wallpaper, stained old carpeting. Hotel is not as nice since change of ownership. It's clean...

"Staff was very friendly and helpful and room was spacious, well-appointed and clean. It has a very nice beachfront and was within walking distance of amazing restaurants in Traverse City. This was our first visit to TC and we loved it. No question that we’ll be back and look to stay at the Bayshore Resort again."

"Bathroom door would not close. The door appeared to have been in that condition for quite some time, as there were no witness marks on the door or jamb, so I think it was repainted recently. Room smelled very stale. The building appeared fairly dated, although it is newer than most hotels in that area. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very pleasant."

"This place is great. The shower is hot. The room is nice. The restaurant is open late. The bar is open later. The pool / hot tub is open 24 hours. The size of the pool is my only complaint."
