"Oversized room with a jacuzzi, however, the system leaked and water seeped into adjacent room. No 24 hour staff, so, you need to be in communication. We left before staff arrived and left the key on the hook with other keys so no security beyond the cameras. The location was ideal as was the price."

"Lovely guesthouse in the very centre of Catania, literally just a few steps away from via Etnea and many attractions. Check-in went smoothly even though we arrived late at night. "This place is terrible. The bed is terrible, the location is rough, the staff is terrible. Over all the experience was terrible.
We were promised breakfast, and there was a half working coffee machine and a couple wrapped muffins that were not restocked. The room had bugs, and they did not go away. The bathtub was disgusting and took forever to fill up. Also a moth flew out of a jet when we turned it on. The bed was terrible to sleep on and folded like a taco. My wife and I didn’t sleep well...

"The star rating on this property by various sources appears way too high. The rating and name and some photos imply it is a luxurious full service property. It is not. There is no one at the front desk from 10am to 8am. The street noise level, at lease in some rooms, is very loud. I was surprised the room did not come with a noise machine and ear plugs. One source stated airport shuttle - no such shuttle - they call you a taxi. The room itself is very very basic - nothing luxurious. "

"This place was really exceptional. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was brought to your room each morning. Your balcony opened onto the market and you were a walking distance from everything. Most importantly, our host who didn’t speak much English couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was a great one. "Paula was a fantastic help in suggesting restaurants and places to see. Very nice person. The location is perfect and most everything you would want to see is within walking distance.
