"On a trip to do family and historical research with my husband. The entire property was quaint, and the interior rooms were spotless. Donna and Rick were wonderful hosts- making delicious breakfasts each morning. Also wonderful to end the day of hiking in the wet conditions in front of a roaring fire in the firepit, ducks in the pond, and crickets and treefrogs singing."
"Super clean room. Really cool alternative to a “regular” hotel. Great communication from host. Cool artwork throughout the building. Had a great stay and would highly recommend."

"Nice and peaceful! You will definitely get a good night's rest. Lots of land where you can get in a nice walk on the property. The breakfast is delicious! Everyone was really friendly. The wine was delicious of course"

Our tv didn’t work, and they immediately replaced it. There’s a nice gas station/convenience store across the parking lot.
We will use this motel again!

"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet there. The hiking trails were within easy walking distance. There weren’t many restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed those we tried. The coffee shop across the street was great and so convenient."
"A lovely stay at Paddlers Lane Retreat. Room was cozy and had everything I needed. Close enough to food options but off the path so it was very quiet and serene.

They had a dog who barked a lot and I could also hear their conversations. The River view was excellent and worth the upcharge. I spent a lot of time reading in the chairs provided outside. Restaurant next door was good. Breakfast was good as well. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it."
