"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"The overall experience was good. Due to a road closure, the only dining was at the lodge and it would have been nice to have it open a bit longer. No power to our room (and the hot water for showers) on the day we checked out was not pleasant, but also likely not your fault.
A room of young guys just down from us who were climbing during the day and doing pot in the evenings got a bit old.
The staff was friendly and helpful."
"Beautiful property. The rooms and common areas were very clean. There pool/spa area was not crowded.
There is not much to choose from food-wise. There is only one restaurant and one large bar, but they serve the same food. The menu does not change. Food was ok, but they had a great wine, beer, and alcohol selection. Most of the staff were amazing except Victoria, a server at the restaurant. She was super rude to us when we asked her to split our check. The survey the night before did it with no problem, but Victoria refused. I had 2 rooms, and neither were cleaned/turned-down, even after I had asked. Fro the price you pay, this should not have been a problem for them to do."
"The food was excellent, the staff were so kind and helpful. The lodge store had such great souvenirs—better than in the park. All-in-all, will come back again!"
"The room was tired. There were cracks in the sink in the bathroom; the handle was missing from the door on the fridge; there was no fire extinguisher in the holster. We were instructed to hand-wash the dishes, so hygiene is dependent on the previous guest.
Three amenities weren't great. Although it was advertised as a spa, none of the treatments appeared to be available off-season. Dinner was available but the restaurant was understaffed (the food took a long time, dishes were often not hot, one time they brought appetizers and the main course at the same time). Dessert options were limited because they hadn't received a delivery. There was no breakfast at all.
The location was great. We hiked into the Ansel Adams Wilderness."
"Property is quite dated. Room was clean but had some issues (for example, air conditioning making very loud noises and randomly turning on / off, plumbing issues, etc). Poor soundproofing as well. However, it made up for it with great amenities, many activities (especially for families) and complementary offerings such as s’mores and Bevi flavoured water machine. On property restaurants / food are average and pricey for what it is but there’s some good food options in Oakhurst about 20 minutes away.
The property seemed understaffed for the amount of guests, especially for room cleaning service. We had to wait until 6pm each day for our room to be cleaned / serviced. This was a pain.
The location is solid. About a 1 hour drive into Yosemite Valley. Overall, would come back for the convenience / location."
