"Booked a family room for 1 night, 1 Queen bed and 2 singles but was given much smaller room upon checking in, this mistake was quickly rectified. Family Room is very spacious and was affordable given it was school holiday weekend. The room has heating so it was nice and cosy for winter. We were surprised to find Netflix here as well, which was a bonus. Would recommend for a quick weekend getaway."

"Travelled with my husband and two toddlers (1 and 2.5 year old) and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and beds were so comfortable. Loved the big open area and the kids enjoyed running around. We loved the farm animals! My kids were obsessed! "Lovely place with spacious rooms and charmy brick walls. Rooms were clean and functional. Some wear and tier is everyware. But it was not critical for us. Unfortunately the food in restaurant (bistro) over dinner was not meeting our expectations and was overpriced. All the fried bits were cooked on old smelly oil, so we were not able to eat it. "Overall excellent hotel close to all the wineries plus Pepper Tree winery on site. Hotel over 100 yrs old and very well maintained, staff were wonderful and very helpful, breakfast was amazing. Would recommend this hotel for a few days in the Hunter Wine region."
