We checked into our room, it was dirty on things like the light switches, the ledges of the headboards, etc...not like dust, but like black sticky grime of some sort and it wreaked of flowery like chemicals or bug bomb or something, so we opened the window and went out for the day. Got back late at 11pm and it didnt smell any less potent. Tried to go to sleep, ours noses were burning. So my husband went to the front desk and told him we need to be moved rooms and why. We moved our kids and stuff up 2 floors at midnight. Beds were awful in both rooms, dips in the middle of the beds. The 2nd room didn't stink, but when my husband checked the beds, he found earbuds in their case under the pillow. Not sure if they were previous guests or a housekeepers, but still concerning.
We slept so horrible, could hear everyone.
We went to the front desk the next morning, explained the list of our experiences, let the girl know we already paid for one night, but we wouldnt be staying for the next 2 nights and need our stay canceled. She said she doesn't have authority for anything, but she will give info to her manager to handle. We never heard from anyone, but it was the weekend, so understandable.
Monday, comfort inn charged us for the whole 3 nights. we stopped by over there before we left. One girl that we tried to explain, she told my husband i don't appreciate your language, instead of talking about it, then said she was going to call cops cause we were pissed. watch your videos mgr!
