"The hotel is old and doesn´t offer many of the amenities for a hotel that charges these prices. It is, at best, a 3-star hotel - no pool, jacuzzi by reservation, no help in getting luggage to the room, etc. Our first room - 506 - was extremely dark, old and smaller than the offered sqm. As soon as we arrived we asked for a room change and were denied this request. After 2 nights we asked again - the room was terrible!!! - and we finally got another room (700) that had been remodeled...

"I have stayed at the Fairmont in Banff twice and this property in Whistler did not disappoint either. The whole experience was absolutely seamless and I literally could not make one complaint. Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the facilities were excellent. The food and beverages on offer in all areas were some of the best i have had in Canada. I cannot wait to return!!!"

"The property has an excellent location. The staff are very kind, and the bellman service in particular is excellent. While the ski check-in service is great, the outside tent should stay open until 4:30 instead of closing at 4:00, because most people haven't come back by then. Additionally, our room in the South Tower is very dark. If the lighting could be improved, that would be great. Other than that, we think this is a good hotel."

"The staff were fabulous and super helpful. We showed up 4 hours early and they had a room ready for us without any grief at all. Ski check was easy and fast. Room was super comfortable with good bed, pillows. Bathroom and toiletries were very nice. Honestly the best value we’ve experienced in whistler after coming here for 30+ years "

"Great central location but with that comes noise and more partying guests. Staff were great at managing a large late night party in the room next door. The mattresses could use an upgrade and I couldn't figure out how to control the temperature in the room so it was quite hot. The murphy bed rooms are oddly configured making it hard to get around. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, etc. The room was very clean. I'd consider etaying here again."

"Overall a great experience especially while traveling with kids. The unit has everything you’d need. Makes it easy to make your own food, wash clothing and get around. Clean and very nice layout of the property. The pool areas were are clean and decent. Whistler is pricey overall but it think this is a great deal considering all the amenities and location :) would definitely recommend and stay again! "
