"Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return. The location was incredible and the interior and exterior of the 500 year old building provided for such a unique experience. "The space was all I needed. The location was in the heart of the car free old town area. More the enough shopping and restaurants were extremely close by. I took the bus from the Chania airport and walked maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Incredibly convenient location and easy to access."

"Located centrally, this hotel is stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you are used to North American style car garages, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Breakfast was incredible as well. "

"Beautiful stay , staff so warm and welcoming , very peaceful and spotlessly clean - George and the team answered all our questions and gave good recommendations. Rooms were huge so much spce and shower really powerful . Breakfast was ok enouh to keep going , but you must have a car , we didnt and had to rely on buses which was a bit awkward as there is nothing nearby - if you want peace and quiet this is your place , specialmention to Katherine and her lovely cakes"
