"The facility has a great quiet location, in walking distance to convenience stores, trains. about 3/4 mile walk to the main shops in Gion, the river walk and many shrines. The facility has a private spa room which was a great feature. We had a 1 bedroom with 2 sofa beds which were comfortable, the room was spacious and had a side patio. We speak English, limited Japanese and was able to communicate with the friendly staff. "

"Great location with easy access to trains. We used this as our base and went for day trips using local trains and Shinkansen (eg to Hiroshima). There is a big shopping centre right next door as well as a lot of shopping at the train station. Plenty of food options nearby. The rooms are quite comfortable for a family of 4. The washing facilities are great so you don't need to pack too many clothes. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. "

"Very close to hokanji temple and kiyomizo dera. Love the room size. Love the washer and the dryer vent in the bathroom. "
