"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Tired facilities but comfortable. We had a two bedroom unit with ensuite. It was a bit noisy ( traffic and people outside). Lovely meal in the restaurant. Great checkin, pleasant and helpful staff."

"The property is older and showing signs of age, but it appears there are efforts to update it. There was quite a bit of traffic noise. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was wonderful!"
