"Beautiful old hotel in a lovely position in Ribedeo. Make sure that you upgrade to the rooms with a river view, it is we worthwhile. The dining room and bar are very good with the same views. Friendly and helpful staff. It is one of a chain of hotels which sound like they are always good quality ..."

"At the end of a long days walking it was more than disappointing to find that the restaurant didn't open until June. Bar food was offered at 8pm. So a long walk up and down the hill to the town. There's no lift. No bedside lights. No breakfast offered."
