"The room smelled like a dirty dog,the hallway on the second floor smelled like the sewer .may have been from the ice machine, the elevator didn't work Saturday night or sunday on the 2nd floor.the staff said both coffee machines were out of order at Sunday breakfast also out of pancake mix at 9:00 am."

"The alarm clock in the room went off at 2am even though I never touched it. I tried to reset it but could not so I unplugged it. I think it’s broken. Since everyone has an alarm clock on their phone the old one on the night stand should just be removed. You could not get cool water at either the sink or bath tub so the problem is not at the faucet. When the faucet was all the way to cold the water was still well over 100 degrees so there is hot water mixing in somehow to the whole building....

"Typisch Amerikaans motel. Van buiten niet echt aantrekkelijk, maar binnen alles prima. Mooie nette redelijk moderne kamer met grote bedden. Goede badkamer met alle voorzieningen. Prima ontbijt te gebruiken in kleine ontbijtruimte bij receptie. Minpunten: rumoerige airco en zeer gehorige kamers."

"liked: cheerful and helpful staff. easy parking. nice amount of counter space in the bathroom. bathroom has a fan. good fridge with separate freeze. fitness center was clean and well equipped though not the most pro brand of equipment. not like: china lake blvd is very loud and its right outside your window. bring some kind relief for your ears. no filtered water in the fitness center."

"Fairly nice and casual place for a low rate but a very outdated look of fake wood paneling in the room. Parking is right at your door so very convenient and a park bench is there too so great for reorganizing. The Lakeview is off to the side but it is just across the street if you want to go down there on dusty roads. There are nicer places on the lake to go picnic further along and on the west side. My favorite Mexican place went out of business so was hard to find food near. This is a...

"Super friendly staff and easy check in were a great start. But I really loved the big area in front of my room with a couple chairs to sit and relax in the shade and enjoy the lake view. This hotel sits back a bit from the street so that helps with Street noise. Also close to the limited markets and restaurants nearby. Cozy and comfortable bed with real soap shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Also a Keurig coffee maker was in the room to start my mornings right. I'd recommend this over...

"The only drawback was that breakfast was not served, and if it was served, not in a timely way. We were gone by 7 o’clock and it wasn’t available then."

"Good budget option. Bed was comfortable, linens clean. There was a small fridge in the room. Shower was working well. AC kept the room cool, though it was pretty loud - I used earplugs at night. TV was in the room but I didn’t use it so I do not know whether it was working. Front desk staff was very courteous. Breakfast had few options: coffee, apple juice, bagels, sliced bread, cream cheese, Cheerios."
