"Great location"

"The facility was very clean all round. Staff were very helpful. However, the air conditioning was not cooling enough. I reported this, and a maintenance person came, fiddled with it and said it would work in 20 minutes. It never cooled until I left. This was very disappointing."

"Het is een hotel met een unieke locatie aan de rand van een natuurgebied. De accommodatie is gelegen aan de snelweg A6, echter van het snelwegverkeer is geen hinder van te ontdekken. De kamer welke ik een drietal dagen gehad heb was een oase van rust, voorzien van een uitstekend bed, uitstekende airco, mooi balkon met uitzicht over een meertje wat deed denken aan de Mekong Delta, in de morgen wakker worden met fluitende vogeltjes en in de avond gaan slapen met kwakende kikkers...hoeveel natuur...

"No servía la regadera, no había agua, el personal de recepción muy de mala gana, nos obligaron a pagar una cuna que no nos habían mencionado para pagar cuando hicimos la reservación y no utilizamos la cuna, la cafetera no servía, el baño es muy pequeño y no tenía división y al bañarse se moja todo el baño. No nos quisieron prender el calentador para calentar el cuarto y nos dijeron que no era temporada de prenderlo. Solo un chavo fue muy amable tratando de resolver el problema del agua pero la...

"If nothing else is available on the area I guess this is an option to use. Bed was uncomfortable (too soft, old and rough bed sheets). Bed was not re-done next morning. "

"This hotel will be our new home from home. We tried different hotels in the area in the past. It is elegant, clean, great staff, and a lovely restaurant downstairs. We stayed in Unit 10, which has a loft with a beautiful bathtub and high ceilings. The double head shower was fantastic as well. We seriously don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and highly recommend it. If you are worried about the lack of a receptionist desk, which I was, don't be! The door keys will be on my our phone...

"Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes"
