"Have stayed in the hotel many times. This time were given a room on the main street- it was dreadful! Never again. The noise from the pub opposite until 1 or 2am was unbearable- shouting, loud music. Cars and bikes racing up street. The air con was not working so had to open windows as 32 degrees. Safe in room not working. Not a good experience this time."

"It’s a beautiful building in an amazing grounds. The room was clean and airy with good light. We travelled by bicycle and they happily locked them away safely for us. Breakfast was also very good and worth the extra charge. Our only comment would be that if you don’t want to have dinner in their restaurant and you’re on a bicycle or foot, then you’ll need to go a couple of kilometres to the nearest village.
