The manager at the front desk is terrible. We witnessed problems with other guests and had a very unprofessional attitude. At one point he tried to persuade my wife that in this hotel a king bed is considered 2 singles pushed together. The rest of the staff were excellent.

Nice and modern

Nice hotel with spacious and modern rooms and great view over the ocean. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Short walk to restaurants and bars.

Elegant hotel in the heart of Opatija

Hotel Royal is a part of new hotel complex consisting of several hotels in a lovely quiet street in the middle of Opatija. Very nicely appointed, rooms look exactly as shown on hotel site pictures. Hotel has a parking garage with direct elevator access, private beach and nice terrace restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast with a sea view. Everything is within a short stroll from the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Not to be missed

This property was amazing in every way. It started and ended with Harry at the front desk, he was so helpful, friendly and warm. The room was beautiful and the breakfast plentiful. The gym was nice to have and the other restaurants and hotels in the Amadria family were able to bill directly to our paricular hotel. I would not only stay here again but I will always look for the sister hotels where ever I travel before booking elsewhere. Loved the place, the people and the town. I will definatly go back. thanks Harry for a wonderful time!

Grundsätzlich tolles Hotel, modern und schön eingerichtet. Tolle Aussicht von der Bar aus. Wir waren für eine Nacht dort auf der Durchreise. Leider hat auf unserem Zimmer die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Am Abend als wir ins Bett gegangen sind, schien sie zu funktionieren, zwar nur sehr leicht aber wir dachten uns erstmal nichts. Nachts sind wir um 2 Uhr komplett durchgeschwitzt aufgewacht. Wir mussten dann die Fenster öffnen, leider war an diesem Abend genau vor der Tür eine Hochzeit. Somit war es sehr laut und Mücken hatten wir auch im Zimmer. Es war dadurch leider eine sehr schlechte Nacht und wir waren nicht gerade erholt. Am nächsten Morgen fragten wir bei der Rezeption ob sie uns etwas entgegen kommen würden. Wir verstehen ja, dass das Hotel für einen Ausfall der Klimaanlage mitten in der Nacht nichts kann aber ich als Hotelinhaber würde wollen, dass meine Gäste erholt sind. Wenn sie es nicht sind würde ich versuchen Ihnen wenigstens noch ein gutes Gefühl zu geben bevor sie fahren. Leider war die Dame an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich und skeptisch. Sie warf uns vor, dass wir nachts ein neues Zimmer hätten nehmen können. Da muss ich ehrlich sagen, dass ich das nicht nachvollziehen kann. Wieso sollte ich um 02 Uhr nachts das Zimmer wechseln? Mit allem Gepäck im Schlafanzug? Fand ich sehr schade. Sie meinte sie kümmert sich darum beim Chef zu fragen ob sie uns zum Beispiel mit der Barrechnung vom Vorabend oder den Parkgebühren entgegen kommen kann. Es kam nichts

Paradies am Meer

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, modern, edel, ruhig am Meer gelegen und doch zentral, mit Blick auf den kleinen Jachthafen. Es ist sehr, sehr angenehm, dort zu sein. Auch das Frühstück ist wunderbar, sowohl von der Qualität als auch vom den traumhaften Saal mit Blick aufs Meer.

Oase der Ruhe und Schönheit direkt am Meer!

Das Hotel liegt idyllisch direkt am Meer, in wunderschöner und ruhiger Umgebung. Sehr schöne, angenehme Architektur, schöne geräumige Zimmer. Ein herrliches abwechslungsreiches Frühstück auf der Terasse am Meer. Man ist im Paradies.

Großartige Lage, Zimmer komfortabel mit wunderbarem Blick aufs Meer. Staff sehr zuvorkommend. Einzig, die Liegen am Strand sind ein wenig teuer. Perfektes Frühstück und super Cocktails an der Strafbar.
