Princess Grand Jamaica Resort - All Inclusive

"Resort was beautiful and my family had a wonderful time. The Pros - we were in a swim out which was fabulous. The room was spacious and clean. The entertainment staff were wonderful, my 15 year old joined in on everything and the nightly shows were fabulous. The coffee shop was amazing, they had the best coffee drinks and ice cream. This was a big hit for the whole family. The Cons- service our fist night at the Italian was sub-par. They were very busy and there was a very long wait, so we tried to be open minded and patient. After 45 minutes we decided to sit on the terrace because the inside line was not moving, it was very hot out there and the service was still very slow. We waited over 45 minutes just for drinks. Thankfully, things only went up form here! The rest of our meals were fabulous. We learned and went to dinner earlier. The buffet was good, some things were definitely better then others but everyone could always fine something they enjoyed. We also enjoyed the mexican restaurant. Overall the staff was wonderful and I Would highly recommend."

"The vacation experience was wonderful - good food, friendly staff and overall good service. The only two negatives for me would be the „Sports Bar“ - the day we went, the food was terrible, and the lights went out! We couldn‘t eat the food, it was like they took frozen food and dropped it in the air-fryer and served it. Don‘t recommend eating there. Otherwise, the other restaurants, Mo-Bay, Blue Lagoon & Poseidon had good food, variety of choices and we stuck with those. Had I stayed longer I would have tried the Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants. There are 10 choices on the complex so you are bound to find something you can enjoy to eat. The rooms are clean, well-kept and spacious. The only other draw back is for our return back to airport we ended up with „Destination Services“ as the 3rd party transportation and the rep (either Hyacyinth/Samantha) she did not identify herself and she was rude and wasted 3 hours of my vacation trying to get a „confirmation date“ for our return when everyone on the grounds (Including Expedia) knew when we were scheduled to leave. This was a stressful time for me and my anxiety level increased which caused me distress as we had a flight out the next day. When attempting to contact them via phone/what‘s app they weren‘t responsive and told us they were in meetings (for 3 hours). Eventually after contacting Expedia, we were passed off to another 3rd Party Holiday Services transport which was a better experience. Don‘t use Destination!"

"I went on a solo vacation, I absolutely loved the resort. I had 2 complaints. 1. Being a big ass roach got in my room somehow. Which can happen with doors opening and closing, maid's cleaning, etc. They could have compensated me better but whatever. They did however ask if I wanted to change rooms if not they what exterminate which is what I chose. I digress. My favorite restaurant was Robert Flame, the Italian restaurant the others where ok. I will definitely revisit this resort. It's beautiful. Oh yeah the beach isn't crystal clear waters. I didn't spend any time in the beach for that reason . Great entertainment with lots to do!"
Hotel Riu Negril - All Inclusive

"We were here for 10 days from the end of June - July 2026, the weather was good , the scenery was amazing, the walk to the rooms was also good as it allowed to get a few steps in after meals. The meals provided in the buffet restaurants were generally the same food served daily. The mini bar in rooms were restocked every 2nd day, which was good. The cleaners cleaned daily however sheets were not changed daily. The resort itself, although stated it was a family resort, the entertainment was more of a clubbing vibe for younger adults, also the live entertainment by dancers were absolutely amazing however, again I feel this was or should be focused more on adults not children, therefore I feel there should be separate entertainment for under 12s. Nevertheless the staff were friendly and catered to all your needs , the only other negative part was the medical center as there did not appear to be any first aid on the beach and when enquired at the medical center, we were advised if treatment was required it would be provided at a cost as they are a private company."
