"The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice."

"Think property could use resort style games for families such as oversized Jenga, checkers and maybe ping pong tables. Only one pool and hot tub doesn’t fit the status for offering rooms that can hold up to 6 people. Families need more activities. The happy hour social time is a great addition. Our floor had stuff stuck to carpet in room by trash can. Thinking about room allowing pets but only have carpet is a let down. "The room during our stay during the July 4th weekend (which had inflated prices) had several issues - Fridge didn’t work well, causing our stored food to spoil. AC rattled during the night. The bathroom door also had an issue opening properly. We only stayed one night or we would have asked to switch rooms. Still waiting for word from the manager about reimbursement for our inconvenience."

"Simple room. The rooms were very clean, with wood laminate flooring. For an older motel, it was maintained well and looks like the rooms were recently remodeled. We were only three blocks from the beach! I would definitely stay there again."

"We arrived a little early to request a top floor away from the road and we were told it was possible, but would take longer. We said it was not a problem. When we returned later, no rooms were available, and so we waited longer. Nearly an hour later we were given a room facing the frontage road and the freeway. Did not sleep well that night due to the road noise. Hotel was not as clean and maintained as most Hampton Inn. Very disappointing."

"Would not recommend even on a low budget Mold on the showers, dirt on the sheets, stained pillows, door wouldn’t close all the way, if you’ve seen the movie vacancy, you’d understand the atmosphere of the rooms. Shut this place down."

"I liked the location and beautiful views but on the flip side it was kinda noisy and our room was lacking basic amenities. Blackout curtain didn’t close all the way so light from the hall peaked through, tv didn’t work or fit the mounting bracket. Bad ventilation in rear room and the water pressure was super weak. Have stayed several times here and never had to much negative to say but this room needs some work"
