"I have a long history with the Beach Grove Motel. I have stayed here 15-16 times over the last 20 years. My reason for coming here is that the motel is just across the road from Boundary Bay Regional Park and Centennial Beach. A low tide event on Boundary Bay is something very special. You can walk barefoot 2 km out into the bay. Perhaps as far as the Point Roberts border marker. If you are a fussy person, who gets upset by this or that, stay somewhere else. "My room was basic at best with a double bed rather than Queen. The heating/cooling system was noisy and the room overlooked a roof top which contained various machinery probably related to the heating and cooling system of the hotel. Not pretty at all.
