Our original room had a musty smell and we later discovered that it was due to the air conditioner leaking. The carpet in front of the air conditioner was wet.
We were in a room with two queen beds. The hotel was booked so they only had a room with a king bed available. That meant our son would have to sleep on the pull out couch. They also offered to run a machine to clear the smell from the room. We opted for them to clean the room and switch to another room with two queen beds which would be available the next day.
After they cleaned the room it didn’t smell as musty as before but the smell was still there. The carpet was still wet.
The hotel manager Richard Lam did his best to accommodate us and provided us with a discount for the two nights that we slept in that room.
The new room that we switched to the next day smelt much better and had no issues.
The breakfast options were great.
All of the staff from the kitchen to the housekeeping to all of the front desk staff, especially Richard were all very friendly and accommodating!
