Great hotel in lovely town!!

A lovely small hotel…the staff was wonderful!! The room was clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was quite good and chef even made us fried eggs. The whole town is VERY hilly… one can walk everywhere from the hotel…

Really gorgeous place in an old building in the heart of the historic town. Just 5 minutes walk from the church of St Francis of Assisi, restaurants, shopping streets etc but tucked away on a quieter street. We had room 6, very pretty with two small balconies with full length windows overlooking the street. We loved standing on the balconies looking across the rooftops to the mountains. Very comfy bed. Can borrow a hairdryer from reception. Bring your own soap and toiletries. Nice towels, beautiful old polished wood floors. Everything very clean. A lot of character in this place. The breakfast room is also very pretty with a great selection of food. The staff are lovely; Mariella on reception is very kind and helpful and the kitchen staff are lovely, very smiley people. We stayed two nights and loved this hotel and loved this town.

A pousada é uma casa antiga toda reformada com muito bom gosto. Bom quarto, amplo, silencioso, com cama confortável e com todas as comodidades esperadas. Bom café da manhã. Funcionários muito prestativos. O único ponto médio é a localização porque fica numa rua muito estreita de mão dupla. De resto, gostei muito e posso voltar, com certeza.

A localização é boa, porém o que deixou a desejar é o estacionamento do carro demandar uma caminhada para acessar. E na rua não tem como deixar estacionado...isso tenso.

O que eu mais gosto, além da localização, é que é servido um chá da tarde. Isto é um diferencial muito agradável!! O que não gostei é que ao reservar (pelo Expedia) não vo opções de padrão de apartamento e o standard não é bom por ser muito pequeno.
