"The hotel was really nice, spacious, clean and well maintained Very convenient for where we needed to go Plenty of choice for food there was a Greggs, Costa, KFC and other outlets next door Staff were lovely and friendly Would definitely stay there again"

"Used as a quick stop over on the way north so was in and out in under 12 hours. However for the price the room was good had everything i needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was generally really quiet so slept well. Breakfast was okay for a bit of cereal and a coffee did not have anything cooked. Perfectly fine for a quick stop off"

"Excellent staff and a lovely building, well located for York train station and only a short walk into the old town. Why a 3 star the ? Tiny, really tiny, room and a breakfast that was universally overcooked took away from what might have been a great stay."
