"This super convenient hotel was a delight and a surprise. Very clean updated and right off the Pan American Highway. Excellent room and the industrial scale but home cooked goodness of the fonda downstairs just perfect. We will 100% plan on staying here every trip."

"Nouveau propriétaire depuis un mois, ils sont sympathiques cependant cela n’excuse pas la propreté de la salle de bain, avons loué 2 chambres, les miroirs, vitres de douches (avec cheveux) et vanités étaient très sales, tâches d’éclaboussures de pâte à dent, pas d’eau dans la douche et évier, le lendemain matin lorsque nous les avons informé, ils nous dit qu’ils devaient activer la pompe ! Mon matelas était complètement creusé. Pas de télé, la piscine a besoin de rénovation…..dommage très bel...

"Beautiful location in hear of rainforest overlooking the Gatun Lake and river system. Very happy that I paid for a room with a "river view." Lovely staff ready to help make your stay wonderful. Delicious buffet on the terrace overlooking the lake. Met people from all over the world. I highly recommend Gamboa Rainforest Resort."

"The staff at the hotel was not accommodating at all. When advised on issues with the room, there was no response until we had to make a number of calls. The room was not cleaned properly causing us to have to call guest services repeatedly. There were delays in someone even answering the phone. The choices for breakfast were very limited and the food was cold. We will not visit this hotel again."
