"We rented two rooms. We could see into one through holes in the walls (separations between boards that make up the walls) from the hallway. The bathroom was full of spiderwebs. The shower had so much mineral deposits built up in the shower head that we had to remove it from the hose to get enough water to wash. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, but rarely present. "Beautiful property had a Riverview balcony cottage. Breakfast brought to the room wonderful experience, refillable water bottles. Staff very helpful. Make sure to rent a scooter through them. It’s a great deal. Good shuttle service in an out of town."

"What a lovely place. Nothing to criticise and everything to love. Beautiful setting by a branch of the mighty Mekong with a lovely pool, delightful breakfast and charming helpful staff. The British owner - Ivan - was very personable, interesting and helpful and all his team were terrific. He also owns the Apsaran on the other side of the river. He was in the wine business so he has a fantastic selection of reasonably priced wines - better than anything else we saw. The manager Han was brilliant....
