"The photos versus reality is a quite big difference shock. This is pure cheapest hostel type place remade for b&b 'look'. Doors like from prison, stabbed with a knife or sth, completely not even fit, light was shooting from all sides from the corridor and you could hear even whispering. Bathroom dirty and rusty. "The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family."

"Loved my stay from beginning to end. The property uses self check-in, which was great because I arrived at an odd time. It went very smoothly. The instructions they sent were very detailed. "Our stay in Catania was great. The hotel manager went above and beyond helping us on multiple occasions. The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early."
