"We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay. Setting was stunning, with the beautiful beach and sea. 2 lovely pools, free rental for kayaks, paddle boards and snorkels. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were exceptional, especially Acea who worked in the restaurants. Food in the restaurants at night was very nice but breakfast wasnt to my taste. Trees full of fruit bats were a special treat."

"PROS: ULTRA secluded, most quiet location by the ocean that you might ever find, with a very chill vibe. Half mile long white fine sandy beach, which often you will have all to yourself due to the closure/ bankruptcy of the neighboring resort. The locals in this region are very friendly, and will actually acknowledge and smile to tourists. Hot water and A/C are available. Good road around the island, but some steep hills. Our tricycle with luggage did not make one of them. The ladies/ hostesses...

"Judith and her team were most accommodating. Very quiet and restful property. transfers to/from airport and with dugong dive center were all organised for us. Food was great and overall excellent value for money. Only downside was WiFi was very limited. Would recommend property"

"I had a wonderful week at Sangat Island Dive Resort. Really I cannot overstate how special the place is. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable (no problem without air conditioning, there is a lovely breeze), the food is delicious, the location is beautiful and so peaceful, and the dive shop is fantastic It was beyond my expectations, just perfect. "A great small place to stay, staff are friendly. The only thing is the TV is not working, wifi is not good and no menu for breakfast. Other than that everything is close to all amenities. Great experience overall definitely will come back to this place."

"Nice and close to the main street, bit of a hilly walk but the staff are very nice and helpful. Fan room is okay with shared bathroom, I recommend the air con rooms. Sparky their pet puppy took my sock that I left outside though so keep your socks inside. Would stay again! In the air con rooms 👍"

"The room is nice, spacious. Some staff are nice but the other staff is terrible, we had one unintentional incident but one of their staff have a bad attitude and tried to attack one of my sibling which is not acceptable at all. They didn’t handled the situation very well. And plus, it’s a lot of hidden charges about the food and services which is they didn’t informed us from the beginning. We definitely not coming back on this resort hotel.This is our first and last time we stayed on this hotel....

"Checking in was a bit of a hassle. The caretakers couldn’t find my reservation and then had to contact the owner of the property who also couldn’t find my reservation. When it was finally found they tried to place us in a different room with a shared bathroom than what I originally booked. I had to show my reservation again and say that I wanted the room I paid for that had the private bathroom. This was remedied but took some time. "

"The hotel was nice but a lot of things weren’t working during our stay! We were there for 3 nights and for 2 the hotel had no wifi. This was tricky since we are from out of the country. We couldn’t contact family, look up places to eat, or use maps/gps to get into town. There was no hot water in the shower which I guess is a small thing but still missed haha. The beds are really tough! Not soft at all. They also charge you for airport transfer per person while everywhere else we stayed had it...
