The woman that checked me in was wonderful. The two lady’s that worked the front desk after should not be in customer service. Maid service never came to service the room. No clean towels, trash never emptied. Within 30 minutes of checking in maintenance had to come fix the toilet we hadn’t used. The toilet remained unusable all night. I asked for fresh towels and the toilet to be checked. Then had to ask for towels again. Was informed that I should have gone back to the front desk for the towels. Also was informed that the toilet wasn’t broken, but clogged. I assume to place blame on myself? Didn’t like the scolding. I also paid $20 extra at booking for breakfast for two. They had no record of and I had to pay out of pocket for the Father’s Day breakfast I thought was taken care of. Took the simplicity out of paying in advance. The “indoor pool” is not located at the Marriott, rather in the hotel across the street. It’s so dirty and hot in the pool area. My friend stepped on a toenail. Hair floating in the foggy wagged. The air or lack of air inside made it difficult to breath. Overall I won’t be booking any future trips with the Marriott. I’ve have better experiences at a motel 6.
