"We loved our one week stay here. We got a suite— lake view— totally worth it for the extra room. Breakfast was great and they varied the breads, types of sausage, types of eggs. It always was ready right on the dot of 7 too so we could hop out and sightsee. Bed was super comfy. It was totally quiet. Abundant parking spots. And did I mention the lake view? Gorgeous. Also- the staff are friendly and efficient. And they LOVE decorating for Halloween— oh man, tons of scary, creepy fun stuff in the lobby! All in all— highly recommend!"

The location is convenient—just off the highway and close to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the Anchorage area easy. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, especially after long days of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One area for improvement would be the breakfast selection—it was fairly minimal, and I would have liked a few more hot options. Also, while the hotel is generally well-maintained, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills place to stay near Anchorage, this Microtel is a solid choice. I’d consider staying here again for the convenience and value."
