"Second time staying here. We were here for Memorial weekend, the rooms were clean, a/c worked great. Staff was friendly, exterior was clean. Pool was nice and kept up. It rained this weekend so the pool had some debris but nothing major. Water was cold. We normally grill so that's a plus to have grills in the pool area. Overall great experience. Breakfast on the other hand was not good, very basic, more like just a continental breakfast. We just went to Whataburger instead. I would definitely...

"The counter, nightstand & sinks had several sugar ants. We found some on our cloths as well . Kinds sleep with one eye open worried about the ants."

"This was my second stay…and my LAST! These guys tried to charge me $20/ per room to check in2 hours early 2 rooms they said were ready. When I refused and came back in 2 hours, they claimed the rooms were not ready. We had to wait another hour. There are other and better hotels in the same price range. This one sucked."

"The outside of the property is not very aesthetic, but don’t let that fool you! The amenities are well taken care of and the rooms are very nice. The staff is so nice and helpful anytime we needed anything they were all so accommodating. Breakfast was very good not many options but they had the classic waffles, bacon , potatoes and cereal etc. The hotel is very central to everything although the island is not very big I found we didn’t have more than a 7 min drive to anything. "This is our 2nd time staying at Plantation Suites, and both visits were great! Our room was clean and well cooled. Extra towels were readily available. The complimentary breakfast waffles are delicious and there is plenty of hot coffee early mornings. The pool/hot tub area is normally very clean. This trip, we did notice some trash in the bottom of the pool mid afternoon, but staff took care of this promptly. NEW* this trip there were 6 and 8 seat golf cart rentals on site! This was a game...

"The room was very dirty the pull out bed was full of dirt and black stuff on the bed dirty floors and roaches coming out the too. Poorly cleaned"

"Hot tubs been broken for months, lots of Gnats in our room. But overall, Staff was nice, shower was hot. Breakfast was good. Air conditioning was noisy. You can tell if someone is staying above you. Not bad for the price, we would stay again."

"The location is too loud to have tents with cloth walls. It’s near streets with bars and a lot of people driving around in loud pickup trucks. There are supposed to be quiet hours after 11 pm but people were not observing them. The bathrooms were cheaply made, in only fair condition and not super clean. It’s ok if you want to rough it but not worth the money. "

"There was an issue or something when i checked in, since apparently my room was not marked as occupied. Another customer as well as an employee tried to open my room twice while we were in there. Also, somebody went in while we were away, since we noticed some things missing."
