"Expedia rated the property 8.5-9.0. It was a 5-6 at best. Not sure the comforter was clean. Bathroom floor boards really dirty. Looked recently decorated with new floors, chairs and coffee table. Price was right for what we got. But again, I booked on rating, not price. Adjacent to Big Texan Steak house which is great!"

"The bathroom is the same as it was in the 50’s and shows the wear. The owner was kind and welcoming but overall the entire hotel needs some renovations. When we turned on the HVAC it smelled musty and it pervaded the room during the night we were there. The caulking in the bathroom was far from clean. I would rate this middle of the road and perhaps worth the low-ish price. But would we stay there again? Probably not. Don’t expect this to be a truly 4.7 hotel if you go!"
