"The pictures shown are on purpose misleading, focusing on some fitness model. The facilities felt like they had seen better days and are now decaying, not being maintained properly. The floor of our room seemed like it had rust/was permanently dirty. The room was not so clean, and we found hair in the duvet and pillows. Not just one, but quite some here and there in our bed. The couch had stains and marks. Same for our white towels, they all had stains. For what we paid (around $170 per night), really not worth it. We stayed at 3-star hotels around Costa Rica that were much better, by no means was this a 4.5 star property. The breakfast felt also poor, just a dish to chose from a menu, and not a huge quantity. Everywhere else in Costa Rica they were offering fresh fruits as well in advance, and if we hadn’t asked for juice ourselves, they wouldn’t have offered, in contrast to all other places we have been. Finally it can feel quite noisy on the rooms of lower floor, next to street/restaurant. I was really surprised with all this after all the good reviews I had seen, making me wonder if we were unlucky with the room, or something else was happening."
"Everything about this hotel was AMAZING! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be back anytime we come to Costa Rica."
"We truly enjoyed our stay and our first time in Costa Rico. The staff were so nice and made our stay pleasurable. Definitely will recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting. We took advantage of our 20% discount at the spa and it was fantastic. Live the property and the amenities. "
"Our needs were very well met. The pool activities were great fun. i enjoyed the Salsa and Merengue dance class with Ashley and Gustavo and the pool water aerobics classes were great fun. Lulu and others were great instructors.
I am on some medicine that needs refrigeration, and the staff brought me a medical refrigerator so I could get my medicine during the stay. They went above and beyond to take care of us.
The nightly dance shows are stupendous! We couldn't catch all the comedy dialogue in Spanish, but it was fun anyway, and the dancers and splendid costumes were amazing. "
"If you’re looking for a safe place to stay, this place is it. Very safe: enclosed parking, entire property is enclosed, guests wear wristbands to be identified, and you don’t have to leave for food, drink, or pool.
The cleanliness was average. The people were very nice and helpful. "
