It was heavenly across the board

Excellent hotel and nice staff but in a very remote location. Important to have a car or it would be difficult to leave the hotel.

Immaculate property - stunning pool - great service.

Lovely house in a great spot. Easy to walk to beach. Really spacious. Very fast communication and very helpful. We thought it was really good value and would highly recommend. Also check out Bali Cafe across the road for great breakfasts and sandwiches.

My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary vacation here in January. We had the most wonderful relaxing week possible. We flew from London to Madrid for a couple of days then on to San Jose and finally Sansa Air to Tambor. Weather was incredible and Tango Mar hotel was divine. Especially as the beach is massively disappointing, its dirty with ocean rubbish not just drift wood but from boats etc . The hotel needs to offer a wow...

I can't recommend this hotel enough – I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. Everything was perfect – super location, a clean, serene room with a balcony to sit out on and watch all the wildlife... Delicious breakfast and food in the restaurant (and at the moment all the football matches projected on the wall!) ... Every member of staff was kind and helpful... And so many nice touches: the lovely yoga in the open air studio... freshly baked cake every afternoon... and a to-go breakfast on...
