"While this is a great hotel with comfortable clean rooms and great common areas, the maintenance is an issue. From the remote control not working properly to signs of wear and tear throughout the property and damages ceiling and walls. It’s a big property so it is probably hard to keep up with the maintenance. But again, they should be more attentive to these details."

"I guess this is a very popular hotel in Rio because when I checked in, I noticed that there were six staff members at the front desk. I booked a Standard Room, but in my opinion, it should only be rated as a 2.5-star hotel. When I checked in, I noticed that the room had a terrible smell. I had to leave the ventilation fan running all night just to make the room more comfortable. The next day, my room was not cleaned at all, and I was not given any appropriate explanation as to why housekeeping...

"Was a nice place to stay for a night before catching our flight the next day. We were advised by several locals not to leave the hotel as it was considered unsafe. Wish we would have known that before we booked."

"Buena ubicación por el precio, queda casi frente al Norte Shopping que tiene buenas opciones para comida y entretenimiento. El desayuno es tipo buffet con muchas buenas opciones, vale la pena! Recomendación: deberían tener una plancha en la habitación ya que ir a un área solo a planchar hace la estadía no favorable porque hay que vestirse dos veces"

"Super well located in a nice and safe area in Ipanema. The staff is super nice and helpful. The breakfast is great. Rooms were very nice although a bit small. One thing I would recommend is an improvement to the shower. Great place, would definitely stay there."
