"The property was obviously under new management. The cafeteria style restaurant was out of everything. No spoons and limited forks. Many of the menu items were not available. No gravy for biscuits & gravy, no roasted chicken or beef. Bar had no limes or tonic water. The coffee bar was out of milk and understaffed.
The rooms were nice but lighting was poor. One small mirror over the bathroom sink. Not adequate for 2 people. No other mirrors. Beds were too firm. Percolator style coffeemaker was difficult to use and made poor coffee.
There was no area at the lodge to gather. Information screens in each lodge didn’t give any weather information. Only the main lobby one did.
There were 6 of us so we had 3 rooms and all had the same complaints. It was poorly managed."
"Room was clean and nicely decorated. Hotel is stick built and walls are paper thin. Could hear our neighbors conversations. When the second floor rooms were up, so were we! They seem to know they have a noise issue, because they offer bedside earplugs. Staff was very friendly!"
"Near the rodeo arena so not so convenient for walking around town. Great if going to rodeo and headed to east Yellowstone entrance. Check in was great and staff super nice and efficient.
I give 3 stars solely on condition of my pet room. Room is quite outdated but i would not hesitate to stay here for a night or 2. Outside and amenities are good. "
"Even though there was no frig, microwave or TV, your so close to Yellowstone gate. They have a wonderful restaurant and bar. Wifi only in lodge. We stayed 3 nights and staff was very helpful and curtious. I would highly recommend."
"There was no place to hang clothes on a clothes hanger. The carpet was worn and pulled up on some edges near the walls. A large loud aggressively barking dog was immediately behind a wooden fence at my rooms entry door. It barked every few minutes during one morning I attempted to sleep in until 11:00 AM. The dog’s reactions to my family’s coming and going from our room gave me serious concern that he would attack us if he got through the wood fence. I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
"It was a different set up. We had Room 129 and instead of two queen beds in one room, It was two separate rooms. One had a closet setup the other one had a too large chair in the closet space. It would be great if they would put a shelf in it with a rod and hangers to hang clothes. Staff were super friendly and helpful with some lighting concerns we had. They have beautiful hanging baskets right by the room and a large green grassy yard with a picnic table. I would stay there again."
