I cannot stress enough the friendliness, and hospitality of this hotel's staff!! So helpful and friendly, just unbelievable. The food here is also excellent. We had Sunday brunch here and also a special Memorial Day meal. The patio area is gorgeous. They have speakeasy on the lower level which is fun and serves really good drinks. The hotel is conveniently situated so you can walk to local attractions. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great rooms and atmosphere. Whenever you have The Taste of Parkersburg going on right beside you, you need to make sure you have more than one bartender. took forever to get a drink. overall great experience.

We enjoy a stay at the BH twice a year. Rooms are reasonable and the bar/dining serves a great dinner and breakfast!

Clean hotel with lots of charm and style. Had a very nice stay. Didn't try the hotel restaurant, but it was an easy walk to some nice restaurants. Enjoyed the area - quick walk to the rivers and the historic district.

It was tastefully decorated. Clean and up to date. The staff was exceptionally accomodating. Comfortable beds. Great hot water and water pressure in the shower! Loved it.

Checked in online before arrival easy. Once there told her my surname and I was provided key to the room. Desk clerk very friendly offered me info about the restaurant on property for dinner and breakfast. Room was beautiful bed was very comfortable. I used the gym was small but had everything I needed. Had dinner on property food was excellent and the service was great. While heading back to room whatever staff we passed very friendly. Asking if we needed anything. Had breakfast there next morning. Breakfast was very good. 10 dollars off each person if you were a quest of hotel. Will stay again

I thought that the chairs in the room were very old and looked too worn out for this nice hotel. I also didn't like that there were bugs in the room. The staff said it was "from the AC." I've also been to other hotels in this price range that water available in big urns for the guests in the lobby. That would have been a nice touch. I did like the beautiful building and the fun stories about the ghosts.

It is a beautiful historic hotel with lots of charm. We loved the 3rd floor atrium full of plants and the huge skylight. Beds were comfortable and the room was perfectly spacious for 2 of us. We would stay again!

Have stayed here many times for a reason. It’s a lovely clean property and I feel safe. Restaurant and lounge are too expensive, but I discovered TCB across the street tonight. It has good food and okay wine at more reasonable prices. I love The Blennerhasset.

A few highlights - very friendly staff, lovely bar, good breakfast, excellent mattresses, pleasant atmosphere. Hot water took a bit, but it did get hot. The details are just nice, flowers, piano music, appropriate music throughout the spaces. Thank you.

Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean and staff is beyond friendly. Loved every minute with the exception of the heat in our room. The heat and fan would cycle about every 2 minutes making sleep very difficult. Aside from that it is a must see destination.

Historical Hotel! Wish they would have offered a hot breakfast instead of a box to go! It’s too good of a Hotel to not give an opinion. Egg on a hairnet was tacky! The dye from the netting was on the egg. Not a good presentation. However, the foyer was decorated for Valentines and it was lovely.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant and bar are very nice. The history of the hotel is interesting.
