"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It’s a nice small place with a beautiful room. The staff here makes the experience a 10/10, they treat you just like family here and do everything to make your stay more welcome. They assisted with car service from the airport to the hotel well before I traveled, and assisted with setting up excursions and rides to get there. Their kindness truly went a long way. We will definitely be coming back!"

"Had a great stay here. Will return for another booking soon!! Staff was wonderful the room I had with a view was perfect. The only complaint I have is that one of the outlets under my desk wasn’t fully placed properly. You can see the a 3 inch gap in between th drywall. Also the toilet seat wasn’t placed properly it was off centered. Trust and believe I use toilet paper to protect against any kind of germs. Besides that it was a great stay. "

"My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."

"This was the third hotel I stayed at in Cost Rica and definitely my favorite. The food was great and staff very friendly. My room was very nice, actually one of the one bedroom condos currently for sale. If this hotel was on the beach I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a unit. It is close enough to walk to the beach however."

Important to mention that in the creek between the parking lot and rooms, there lives an 8-10 feet crocodile, the hotel staff stated that it lives there and that they have never had any problems, there is no way it can get to the actual hotel, but it is important to mention so you are not shocked in case you see it."
