"We felt like we were alone in the jungle, full kitchen very nice bathroom separated from the bedroom. The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it"

"I had an amazing stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the two toucans that visited us in the morning. They were flying around, perching on the trees, and watching us while we relaxed on the terrace. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway! "

"Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing!...

"We liked the hotel overall. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was limited but really good. The pool is perfect. Regarding the hotel’s location it’s both good and bad. Good because it’s easy to get to Uvita but bad because of the noise coming from the highway. "

"This hotel was nice and quiet. We appreciated the Gastro area of dining options that were located next door to the hotel. However, at night there is loud, live music coming from the gastro area. Our room was very small but clean. The staff was very friendly and the property was very clean."

"The 24/7 front counter is a great feature, the pool is nice, the suite upstairs had all we needed in the kitchen, and hot water with good pressure in the shower. The fridge came in handy for leftovers from our favorite restaurant just a few minutes up the street. We met friendly travelers and had a fantastic visit."

"Good value for money. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel shows its age but is in good condition, very clean rooms and has a nice pool and duck pond. I would definitely recommend it as it is good value for money."

"Wir waren 4 Nächte vor Ort um tauchen zu gehen, viele Tauchbasen sind in Laufnähe. Das Hotel ist neu und alle Zimmer haben eine kleine Küche mit ordentlicher Ausstattung. Es gibt keinen Herd oder Kochplatte, sondern einen elektrischen Kochtopf und eine elektrische Pfanne sowie eine Mikrowelle - für ein Frühstück hat es gereicht, richtig gekocht haben wir nicht. "Beautifully furnished and comfortable condo nestled in a jungle setting overlooking the ocean. Sparkling clean infinity pool, full kitchen, BBQ pit on back patio, excellent service from host and staff. The 5k maintained rock road to get there from main hwy is a bit of a rough drive but well worth it. This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many wonderful places- but none as amazing as CanaVida. Only stayed 2 nights- wish we had stayed 2 weeks! "
