"Simple but good quality service and food"

"Friendly folks who did everything possible to make our stay pleasant! We opted to have dinner at the B&B, and it was delicious, as was the included breakfast. The owners have cats and they also have a pet-friendly policy - I am a bit allergic to cats, but it was not an issue and we did not even mention it. In short, our stay was great and we would stay again if returning to Calais!"

The hotel is not centrally located, more in a suburban area which is pleasant to walk around. Nothing fancy, very utilitarian feel."

"I stayed in reims the night before staying hete at a budged ibis hotel and it was far far superior to the f1 in Coquelles calais. The f1 hotel in Coquelles is in need of some updating,it serves a purpose and thats about it,I arrived 2 hours after check in time to find my room was still in an unmade condition. Even after I was allowed in ,the floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was dust and bits everywhere. I slept OK,the breakfast was a disappointment too,nothing special to write home about,this...

"The bed was very big and the linens were immaculate. The bathroom was of a good size and very clean as well as good towels. What let’s the property down is the overall condition both outside and inside. Anew coat of paint would do wonders. The restaurant is also a huge let down as there was very little choice and unfortunately both were disgusting I had the pizza and my husband had the only other choice which was chile. However both were terrible, the chile being dry and inedible and the pizza...

Buiten de kamer is geen plek om ergens binnen te zitten, waardoor iedereen gedwongen wordt buiten op het terras te zitten. Het ontbijt is heel goed. Er is zelfs standaard glutenvrij brood. De kamer is duur voor wat je er voor krijgt. Het ontbijt is goedkoop voor wat je er voor krijgt. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar de kennis en vaardigheid van de Engelse taal zeer beperkt.
