"Convenient location; breakfast was excellent; the hotel was just renovated and room size is generous. The staff serving the breakfast was very nice and helpful. Bed linens and bed sheets have very good quality. From all of these aspects, I gave my stay 5 stars.
However, I was not satisfied with the reception when we first arrived. We were assigned a bad room with smaller size and poor view of balcony even though there were more better rooms available. From this aspect, I gave my stay 4 stars to...

"Our stay at Hôtel Aston La Scala was extremely disappointing, particularly for a property advertised as a four-star hotel. While the location is excellent, the condition of the accommodations and the level of customer service fell significantly below expectations.
We experienced several unacceptable issues, including furniture falling apart , poor bathtub drainage, outdated décor, and extremely offensive odors in multiple rooms. Equally disappointing was the initial response from the front desk....

"The room was very nice. Comfortably fit 3 adult women. There was a workspace for me to do some computer work. They made great use of empty space for storage. I reached out ahead of time to let them know our train would arrive very late and they made sure our room was completely ready for when we arrived (sofa bed pulled out and made, furniture moved so that we could navigate with our luggage, correct number of towels, etc). The staff were very nice (Karm, Beatrice, Ananda, Mohammad, and many...

"There was a renovation at the hotel right outside of our room which was loud and the gym was also closed. This was not this close to us prior to booking.
Breakfast was okay but overall the hotel was not well maintained. We had to ask for iron and kettle and when arrived they were both damaged or broken."
