"The lady who oversees the property was a very good host."

"The room was old and looked different from the impression given by the photos. However, it was well cleaned. The gas stove in the kitchen had very weak flames, and the microwave was broken. Some rooms had a musty smell or even smelled like a toilet. The location was good, with everything necessary for daily life within walking distance, making it suitable for a long-term stay. The staff were very kind. However, I found the price to be disproportionately high. I paid around 11,000~12,000 rupees...

"I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. "After nearly a year, I came back to Hotel Himalaya to discover many minor improvement to the hotel. Security improved in card access lift and doorway, a renovated lounge, enlarged outdoor dining, I like it. The room is still clear though not yet renovated. Reception is reasonable.
