"I'll start with the two positives: it's cute on the outside and the front desk guy was friendly and check in was quick. There were no positives after getting to the room. The place is run down and filthy. The floors were so dirty that my white socks were black on the bottom from walking on them and the bathroom was just gross. I do not recommend if you like a clean place to stay - so disappointing."

"Port Townsend is an old charming town and everything in it is old so set your expectations accordingly. This is a motel. I stayed for 1 week for an event at Centrum and this motel had almost everything I needed. A small fridge, coffee maker, wi-fi, microwave, comfortable bed, quiet (even though it's near the main road into town), nice hot shower, great parking and a 5-minute drive to Fort Worden. The food coop is right next door. The beach practically across the street and it's walking distance...

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel.
