"The room was very clean, however, the hotel was under construction. All three floors had construction going on, even in the hallways. Carpet was being laid, and I found numerous wood screws lying on the hallway, and one screw in the room. If I had stepped on one, it would have gone through the sole of my sneaker. "Everything was great from the staff to the room. However, they really need to some cleaning on the pool, i understand that it is outside but the filters were extremely dirty and was stopping the water from filtering. The pool was heavily used the night before and we were hoping to swim in the morning but just couldn't get into the water because it was so cloudy and dirty."

"We stayed at 500 on our wedding night. We did not arrive until after 10:00 pm. When we arrived in our room, there was a bootle of champagne on ice and a basket of goodies waiting for us, along with a personal note from the staff. Our in room brunch the next morning was fantastic. Even though we were only there for one night everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team at the 500."

"We love the sister hotel in walla walla do we decided to give the sparrow a try. The staff and customer service were absolutely amazing. The hotel wasn’t super clean, our bathroom was dirty and the hallway smelled of strong air freshener covering up pet accidents, lots of stains on the carpet. It’s a great location walkable to everything downtown and the coffee shop was amazing."
