"Gorgeous location, surrounded by mountains. Right next to the national park and huge property with lots of trails and things to do. However the lodging itself is closer to a youth hostel or a basic motel - dated furnishings, loads of teenagers (occasionally noisy at night), constant banging of doors, no housekeeping during the stay (although plenty of clean towels and linen: comfy beds)."

"Staff was nonexistent. My room was never cleaned, I stayed there 4 days. . No ice. Shower no hot water. Rustic but very dated, tv was small and very limited channels"

"Property has a great location and the most incredible views of the lake area. Cabin room was the most basic room I have ever been in. It was clean. No air conditioning and it was hot. No cups in the room. No chair in the room. TV was size of a small computer screen. Bed was not very comfortable. You could hear person in the other room as the floors were creaky. Wifi was great. Employees told us restaurant and main office was closed after 5:30 due to an employee party. Check ahead if want to...

"Room was fine. Only complaint is that the sink is a pedestal sink with the shelf above the toilet. Not the most ideal placement but not sure there were other options. Other than that, room was fine. We were only there to sleep so didn’t use facilities much. Breakfast was ok, not great, but there are lots of options to go out for breakfast in Estes. "
