"Was good for 1 night stay. Breakfast was nice. Staff super helpful and friendly. Only negative was the slamming doors at night. The bedroom doors require a good slam to shut them so this made it a little disruptive at night. Other than that it was a great little place to stay."

"In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though."

Deshalb habe ich für meine Frau extra eine Suite gebucht – was man uns zunächst gab, war allerdings eine Frechheit: ein dunkles Loch mit Blick auf eine Ziegelwand. Warum versucht man eigentlich immer wieder, Ausländern die schlechtesten Zimmer zuzuschieben? Nach längerer Diskussion bekamen wir immerhin eine helle und geräumige Suite, inklusive Entschuldigung. "Lovely place in a stunning setting, would have without a doubt been 5 stars across the board until we went for breakfast. Food was very nice, but we were sat at a table that wasn’t the best situated and felt a bit close to others when better tables were available and offered to other guests but not us. Table hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were marks on the glass. Getting the attention of staff was an issue and I didn’t want to bring this up in front of other paying guests. We then sat...

"We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone"
