We were in the back of the building and there was a large party in the parking lot. It appeared to be a family reunion or something like that, that was part of the hotel owners family. "Staff is doing their best and we had good service in the restaurant for breakfast. Management is not seen anywhere and leave front line staff to address all issues. We received a text at 2 pm indicating the restaurant, lounge/bar and room service would not be available for the remainder of the day. We had planned to get a small bite before a tasting trip at 5pm knowing almost all restaurants within the community would be closed at the end of our trip. This was disappointing. The property...

"Hotel Willa is in a convenient location - within walkable distance of the Plaza and numerous restaurants. Everyone at the hotel was helpful, the inner courtyard is lovely, rooms are spacious, and the restaurant is very good. We would definitely stay there aagain."

"We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. "The Inn is a nice older property in a great location in Taos, but it is in need of TLC. Our room itself was fine, but top came off one small table and the shower was designed in such a way that we soaked the mat each time. More importantly, our reception at the hotel was lukewarm; my call to the front desk to request help with the TV went unanswered; and, on my subsequent trip to the front desk, I was told that they didn't know how to work the new TV system. "Used to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere, the Sagebrush was such a disappointment, i won’t be back, the place has fallen into a bad state of disrepair, from rotting, titling boards which caused a fall on the staircase, sheets with bloodstains, (laundered, it looked like stains that just don’t come out). The menu is greatly reduced and the food was terrible. Again, I’m not just an old nag, and for $200+ night i guess I expect clean sheets, some semblance of safety on staircases and walkways....
