"We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?"

The proprietors are warm and friendly, establishing a wonderful “homey” feel, while giving you the space you may want/need (typical of a five star hotel feel). If you’re lucky enough to enjoy coffee and/or breakfast - get ready to want to move in permanently!! I’ll come back and highly recommend you make a trip to Riffles and Runs!!!! "

"My 9-year-old son and I stayed overnight during a visit to Woodward Skate Camp and were very pleased with our stay. From check-in to check-out, the service was great! The pool had nice, new metal seating, which was a welcome change to the plastic lawn chairs you often find. Breakfast was nice too! they had hard boiled eggs, which my son's favorite!"

"Stayed for a bike race nearby. Hotel was clean, quiet and friendly staff. Breakfast was better than expected, The coffee was actually decent. And more nearby than expected as far as gas and food. Great find for the area. Pool looked nice but not open yet, outdoors."

"This is an average hotel in a very rural part of Pennsylvania. It's close enough to Penn State to attract visitors. Very outdated but the staff were friendly."
